Thoughtfully Preparing Women Aspiring GCs to Level Up

After supporting women GCs for the past six years, Ready Set GC recognized a critical gap. In-house women who report to the General Counsel or Chief Legal Officer and aspire to transition into their first GC role often lack structured guidance and tailored support. Ready Set GC | Ascend was created to bridge this gap by providing a structured framework to assess readiness and alignment, identify growth areas, and strategically position for the next step in their careers.

Unlike our GC program, which focuses on mastering the role, the Ascend program is centered on preparing for it. Through a highly interactive experience, participants engage in a personalized self-assessment and action planning process, helping them objectively evaluate their leadership capabilities, focus their approach, and develop a concrete roadmap toward securing a GC role.

Program Overview

This highly interactive program is designed to help aspiring GCs take a strategic, proactive approach to their career progression. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises, guided discussions, and candid conversations with experienced leaders to evaluate their readiness for the GC role and develop a concrete action plan.
